Your comments on showing bids from a buyers and sellers perspective are very well put.
I am sure most of us would like to see bids shown again.

As regards PSU, ebid has gone from 4th place to second place since I began watching it about 18 months ago. Ebay of course has been number 1 for ever.
I have never seen that Alex script you are talking about, it sounds a bit of a thing to stay away from. It must be some spurious script that someone has written.

......... when I looked for Alexa I found what appears to be a script that can lower a site's rating very quickly., if so then is Alexa a trustworthy tool? ............

One thing worth considering:

Whether alexa is ultimately fully 'trustworthy' (ie: truly indicative of a site's traffic - in the big scheme of things), is an interesting point.
What's important for a site's 'exposure' is 'being on the radar' so to speak.

The alexa system enables one extra avenue for eBid to get 'on the radar'
And alexa (whether a fully trusted grading or not) is still a benchmark that is used by advertisers.

So ebid members can benefit from this.
Our exposure has already benefitted from our rating - thanks to members who have installed alexa.

You’re both keep pushing this stuff….in my opinion if ‘’Alexa’’ paying people for advertising I think you’re both will be already rich…....and by the way as I understand ‘’Alexa’’ keep record how many visitors’ go in particular internet page or people install this program in own computer this is good and that mean we have the chance for more buyers in here to come…and after that I already told you both like good friend advice list more and more every day and every kind of item because if more buyers come in here you’re both promote this stuff but in my opinion if you’re both still have only couple items listed is not going to help you very much even if ‘’Alexa’’ go to the roof because of one very small things buyers don’t stop much in the seller’s page who has only couple item listed or only one or two categories of items if is item not new gadgets or ‘’hot’’ items….AMEN…....

Thanks for reply ‘’Steve’’ you’re good person as always…...I just try to explain my personal view for this stuff…and again if many buyers come in here and if you in that time not have many listed items for buyer’s to chose not much help for you because buyer’s is not going to stop on seller’s listing where the seller have only couple listed items and top of that if items is not hot or new gadgets the buyer will go on other pages where people selling many various different stuff to chose and many buyer’s always looking for good deal especially if try to buy couple items in same time and items are different…is just my opinion I hope you understand…In the end for this real thread ‘’I want to see the bids’’…I hope 8 months after you are in here on eBid you’re already ‘’figure out’’ why we don’t have the bid column in here on eBid…AMEN…...

Very depressing that there is still no bid column here..... it speaks of lack of auction knowledge
and holding this site back. It is Bad for sellers to say the least, and keeping bigger sellers away, or they come and do nothing here because of lack of action. Why? no action.... because there is no Bid Column which is equal to no-respect.
What is also needed here....
A 2-Link Site, one for Only Fixed Price offerings(no bidding)
and one for bidding and bidding with a buy now option.
2 links = 2 sites from one Main URL
