Right - back for a quick update on the mystery elephant! He is slowly becoming less of a mystery!

After a good rummage (and only getting occasionally sidetracked - "ooooh! I'd forgotten I had that!" etc) I have selected my fabrics! A medium denim and a complementing print - pale blue fabric with a leaf/flower motif in green, blue and white.

I have cut out my pieces and pinned the first seams ready for sewing. Usually I sew miniatures so pinning always seems to take forever when I stray into the realms of larger makes! Looking again at the picture of cut pieces I realise I haven't cut any foot pads so that will have to happen before I start sewing....
