IBID works l sell plenty here. I still sell on EBAY and send a flier out with my EBAY orders. I also have over 7500 items listed. I know sellers on EBAY who list on here and list under 200 items and have 8000 items listed on EBAY and complain about sales on EBID. Put the effort in and you will get the results of your work.

Why? They could pitch for a massive cash injection and then refuse any offer (I don't think the boys want any partners) but still get national TV exposure for the site. Like a giant free advert.

Or send a crate of eBid T-shirts to the Libyan rebels.

If you are a hobby seller, part time seller etc then ebid is a good place to be (Niche)

So while ebid suits many of us 100% there are a few who want to use it in a different way to the majority.

I think the vast majority of ebidders sell or have sold either books, postcards, stamps, coins, craft items, used china collectables etc etc.

Ebid may get a lot bigger and develop in a different direction. Personally I hope the fees stay the same and it builds real muscle and not get inflated by advertizing and hype.
Agree with Pink and dardon, if more $ is the seller's goal then perhaps selling on multiple sites is the way to go. For those like me who are selling off stuff around the house, the present situation suits just fine. IMHO those who sell as I do would likely be put off by fee increases, (I know I would), and possibly leave altogether, which wouldn't be good for eBid as a whole.

Best wishes for many sales to all,

LMAO! Now that's what I call creative advertising.

Best wishes for many sales to all,

If the discussion forums on ebay are read, one will see the discontent there and people flocking to leave.

I suppose it's a question of choice. Its like having two shopping centres open in the high street, unusual centres in thet you can buy or sell in them
One has little stock and none at all of lots of the stuff you want. Its cheap and there are hardly any customers but some of the sellers inside are doing it just for pin money so the stuff has no warranty and if its no good you're on your own.
The other has tons of stock and a huge variety, its very busy but more expensive.
Both have their supporters and their detractors.
You get to chose which,if any,you use because there are plenty of other places to go.

I know a heck of a lot of eBay sellers, both large and small scale, left eBay and came here, likewise a lot are listing less there and a lot more on here.

I personally liked the old layout of listing, it was easy to understand and find.

I must say that if eBid change their listing templates to be like the old fleabay one, then I would be happy. (I don't like the current eBid layout - and it it does put me off, if I am honest).
