It would be nice if this was properly addressed

Don't think so...all knives are banned on all eBid sites.

"(4)It shall be a defence for a person charged with an offence under subsection (1) above to prove that he took all reasonable precautions and exercised all due diligence to avoid the commission of the offence."

Not quite sure what you are quoting there, why, or where from.

If it relates to the UK regulations then the principle factor is the age of the person purchasing. As there is no way you can check the age of someone buying online then I don't think you could claim 'due diligence' if you supplied by that means. I certainly wouldn't fancy quoting that text to a judge in my defence.

If eBid merely made it for US to US only listings, they have satified due diligence

If they notified sellers that ID must be checked they have satified due diligence on their part

How does a kid without a pocket knife skin a muskrat in your country?

They were extinct in the UK until 2009, now there is a trial reintroduction in Scotland.

Don't think anybody killing them would be too popular.
By the way they are European Beavers, not North American ones.

European beavers? If there are anything like our North American ones then they would be a nightmare. lol We've got a real problem with those devils at the farm.
