Well somnebody's links are working. I have had a few from joinups in the last month.

Jimbo regularly tops the Buddy Point Leader Board each month. As he doesn't sell (and only seems to buy using Buddy Points) they must all be from joinups. Love to know how he does it.

Unless you can watch someone register via your link then you can't say it isn't working. There are too many ways they can join without using your link or voiding your link if they have used it.

I had a few people say they joined last week, but never got their buddy points either. I had thought maybe they forgot to confirm. It was when I was running the facebook event. I did get 6.

Well I'm glad your links are working Mel I wish I could say I'm convinced about mine. I've already said I had an old school friend go directly to my advert to buy a specific item from me and I didn't get the buddy point for that. I also want to know why my links have reverted back to what they were before support corrected them last time.

Please could someone provide proof that buddy links work.
I cannot see any reason at the moment why I go to all the trouble of encouraging my friends/family/buyers from fleabay to c'mon over to eBid.
I simply don't get buddy points (not even from my own daughter who joined up AGES ago - ) following my buddy link.
Also, I am embarrased when they enrol and get struck off - (line through name) and then blame ME!

Can't say why they changed (maybe done during an edit?) but both forms are valid.

As said before, the correct cookie is created. So, as long as your link is clicked on, the clicker allows eBid to store the cookie on their PC, they do not delete the cookie before signup, they signup within 7 days of clicking your link, and they do not click someone else's link after yours before signup....then you should get the points.

I get buddy points for "a buddy of yours joined ebid" regularly. Jimbo, as has been said, gets hundreds of points that can only be from buddy link joins. If you don't accept this evidence, I don't quite know what "proof" would be acceptable?

I think it's relevant in the sense that different groups are earning points via different methods. Some people are earning points via a few, presumably easily checked, external links that are directing people to ebid. Others, like myself, are/were getting what you might call 'point of sale' buddy points i.e. thousands of links on thousands of auction pages. The feeling is that many of these links, on site, are now not working and that it's contributing to quite an inbalance between the two methods.
