It should be working. I just clicked on your Join Here link in one of your listings and the correct cookie was set up on my system with your user number (197704) in it.

I have checked both links and can confirm that both links above are setting the right cookie so i suppose if there was a problem it would be when the cookie is read back to eBid during the registration process.
but something is not getting through. Sorry to keep harping on about it but I would like Gazza to investigate if possible.

I never get any buddy points from the newbies who buy from me either (and there have been many) - I just don't understand it.

This subject has been raised before, I do not recall a satisfactory response.

I have been keeping records and last 9 newbie buyers since 12th Feb signed up and purchased from me within 8 minutes (overall average).
Not a single buddy point.

Please could anyone let me know if you are getting buddy points from your newbie buyers, or is my buddy link not working correctly?
I wonder if it is because I switch from Firefox to Google Chrome when listing.

I queried this a while ago too. I had a buyer join and buy from me within 5 minutes of joining. I haven't checked whether she joined through my link (she's a strikethru... see my other thread....), but consider that buddy points links are suspect since I don't seem to be getting the joining points any more either.

Sigh - well nobody has joined via my links since the 21st February dispite having loads of sales to newbies so no change here since I started this thread and still waiting for a reply !

.. I just took it that my recent 'Newbies' joined eBid from the 'not a member yet' bit on the front page... so I would not be entitled to the Buddies ... have had one who joined and also someone upgraded...

but it sounds as if your Newbies joined directly from your links....
