When I eliminate the sellers that have 100's of listings there are only about 300 little guy auctions left. At least I don't think I will get lost in the crowd here.
    make sure you notify as many as of your old customers you are also here on ebit , outside of ebay channels of course.

    @Sghovel

    Welcome to ebid.
    in your About Me page you are saying come and visit me on ebay.
    That is not allowed under ebids rules and it will be enforced.
    Its OK to say that you used to sell there.

    I'm suprised that even now ebid is mentioned so few times anywhere.You wouldn't expect to see it mentioned in ebays forums (it usually gets the thread pulled) but there are hundreds in not thousands of other places it could be pushed.Facebook,PSU,Twitter loads and loads of forums and discussion pages etc etc.With a few notable exceptions (and well done to them) the flag wavers waxing lyrical on here don't do the same anywhere else and preaching to the already converted is a bit of a waste of effort.
    Lets see mentions of,and sensible discussions about ebid in lots of different places and lets spread the word.

    As I new eBidder, I'm glad to see that everyone here is so friendly and helpful! I'm party of the (hopefully) mass exodus from ebay. I'm glad to see people have decent to good luck selling here!

    Welcome to all the new ebid members.

    @Hodgemo2
    I know there is a lot to do when you join a new site.
    But could I suggest that as you have joined as a Seller+ (a good decision that you add a photo and something about you and your selling polices in your About Me page.

    And it needs to be a real "mass exodus"
    People need to stop selling on there so that buyers will have to look elsewhere.

    I know it is hard to get started, go to you paypal account, get the email addresses of all previous buyers and send them and email with a link to eBid and go on face book, there are a couple of groups there who are moving, join one of the groups, I did and my views have jumped and I have been getting all kinds of questions a lot of people will be coming here, DON'T GIVE UP!!! I will find you and drag you back here (don't make me do that)

    Thanks for the advice! I just joined last night. I'm going to spend some time this weekend updating my page, adding auctions, etc, etc.
