Combining postage on auction invoice for seller (better yet buyer??)

Apologies if this has been mentioned before - I found a similar thread about BIN sales, but my request is a bit different.

I sell photos and many times a buyer will bid on two or more pictures (separate auctions). All my auctions state that ALL wins will be posted together for a single P&P fee.
But when I prepare the invoice I find the select postage discount mechanism clumsy and error prone. I have to do my own sums to work out a discount of n-1 postage charges and be very careful to select £ discount rather than %.

Am I missing an easy method?

Is there any way to automate - "all items for a single P&P charge" (pick the highest if charges differ between won items) ???

As I have never bought multiple items here - I don't know what options a buyer gets when he "Pays" - is (s)he allowed to combine postage??

(business picking up slowly - so an improvement here will be a great advantage when it starts to BOOM)

There is only the % or monetary symbol available at the moment.

It is very easy to adjust invoice before sending it. The % or $(monetary) is easy to use.

I agree there needs to be an easy method...an option also to pay for multiple items without having to wait for invoice. I just purchased 3 items from one seller and when I went to pay it would only do one at a time so I cancelled and will wait for invoice! It is better on the paypal fees I believe, for the seller.

It certainly does lower the transaction fees on PP and GC for sellers when buyers wait for combined invoices.

If you are asking how to combine postage, you have to manually adjust the amount in the postage section. Click on £ not %.

When you click on send Invoice in the AAL, there should be a box at the top of Invoice on next screen saying "Add this item to Invoice" - clickon that so that both items are showing together before you add payment terms/options in the 'Notes' box below.
