Thread: Forum threads messed up width wide since last update

Mel, Thanks for the info. I will search for files. I tried to post a screen shot but when I clicked insert pic, all I got was a black screen where I would post.

I have sent a screen shot directly to ebid support and hopefully they can assist me. I don't think it's my computer because when I search for closed forums everything comes up okay.

It only happens when I use 'current' threads.

Mel, Searched for those files. Not found on my computer. I sure hope support can help me soon. This is driving me crazy.

    Now where is that button.

Apparently not just me. The other thread regarding this is going strong: http://www.ebid.net/forums/showthrea...=1#post1305537

I'm going to have another cup of coffee and then do some gardening to let off some steam, lol. I'll check back later to see if support has come up with a solution.

    Now where is that button>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

Well, looking at the screenshot I wouldn't say the buttons are a long way away.

Judging by the scroll bar at the bottom they are a long, long, long way away.

I am surprised none of those three files exist on your PC. Normally they are in the Temporary Internet Files folder. On my PC at:

    Code:
    C:\Documents and Settings\Mel\Local Settings\Temporary Internet Files

I've heard back from support and they are checking it out.

I have added another screenshot to ebid's FB page. When I look at closed threads I can read everything without scrolling.

Okay, I added firefox and now I can read the forums properly. It is definitely a problem with IE 8.

    Florida,

    can you let us know
    1) your screen resolution
    2) your browser (go Help > About to find out), you say IE8 but the support ticket you sent us was via IE7 .. if you are still on IE7 an upgrade to IE8 is here http://www.microsoft.com/windows/int...r/default.aspx
    3) URL to a thread that is causing problems

    thanks.
