I work on the theory that "success breeds success", "money goes to money" etc. etc.

Likewise, members & listings - attract even more members & listings...............

    MMMMMMMMMMmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm?

What else? I want ebid to succeed and get into a bigger market.
I like the set up here. So far it does what it says on the tin.

Ebay is no longer a place I will list unless it's for free or close to it ie 5p & 10p. I find the whole selling experiance there biased towards the buyer. The DSR system is a joke. Feedback is totally unfair when you can't rate a buyer as you would like and they can rate you whatever they like.

Ebid is much more user friendly - all thats missing is the heavy traffic of customers - hence the more listings the better - the more sales the better.

Like you say though; it's pointless slagging ebay off, It's their biz. If I don't like it I'll find somewhere else. And I have!

    Come on ebid!

I was'nt online as ebay was growing.

I believe it grew as it's users spread the word (word of mouth thingy).

That's all well and good as the ebay concept was a brand new phenomenom (Bet I spelt that wrong) and mushroomed into a giant.

Ebid members will have to work a lot harder to achieve anywhere near 10% of that success. But any effort ie more listings or self promotion will not be wasted.

Bleating like sheep about other sites is distasteful and a waste of breath.

I used to be guilty of slagging ebay off too!

It's your posts that showed me how childish this attitude was.

So they want small sellers off the site - so what? They have a plan and maybe small sellers aint part of it.

A bit like compulsary purchase of your house to make way for a new road. Annoying yes, have a whinge yes if you like . Will it make a difference? NO!
