All you do is decide on what charity - the nominated charity will be disclosed in the YDC thread - I think it's the Gurkas this time. If you choose another charity, that's fine, too. Just pick some item - silly is wonderful - crazy is good - funny is fantastic - useful is fine - describe it , again - silly is wonderful, crazy is good - you get the idea. Set it to start on the 24th (anytime during the 24th) and run for 4 days. People start them at various times during the day, and around the world, so the start and end times are staggered. If you type in the search box YDC* you can see what has already been listed and the formats that people use. It has to say YDC 84 or YDC85 or whatever YDC it is in the title, as well as saying in the listing who the charity is. There is no limit to how many things you donate - and they can be to one, or many charities. Take a look at what is there and get an idea. xoxo (Do use the wildcard * right after the YDC in the search (no space) and it will give you the titles with YDC 84 and YDC84 - both variations. (I don't remember if it's 84 or 85 this time - need to go look myself! I'm off (and many have agreed).)

Another idea to catch an idea of what and how to list would be to do a search for YDC* which gives all the live auctions. If you go into advanced search and select closed or ended listings then it will show all the auctions that have been. Hope that helps.

Yvonne, I like your idea and will add one with a BIN when I am back home. And if anyone wishes to pay the sum I have in mind, well good for the charity
