Kimbo,my problem with it is that it will make no real difference.hardly anyone has heard of Auction bytes who hasn't already heard of ebid,Ebay or all the others so it really matters little what the results are.
If the same effort was put into listing a variety of items for sale as has been expended on countless pointless 'bumps' then Ebid would attract far more attention.
I don't have a high opinion of auction bytes (as a trawl through the forums on a wet day would show ) but I can't see any harm in those who value it using it, and it *is* on topic and relevant, well-meant and a positive move. Of all the rubbish that appears on the forums it seems like an odd one to be bothered by.
I'm not really bothered about it as such, just making a comment or two, none of which are to be taked too seriously.
I didn't say it does any harm, but the effort could be better spent on listing etc.
We'll have to agree to differ I guess.
Interestingly (or not)... I just Googled 'online auction sites' and eBid was returned as the first two hits on the first page of results plus an advertisement; eBay was not on the first page at all - either as a result or as an advertisement.
