Oh, girl, don't get me started! I can talk for hours about vintage jewelry. I might not make any sense but boy can I talk!

Check out the vintage jewelry stores in the jewelry category. I think there are about 25 of us now. It will give you a clue as to what your jewelry may be worth.

Best of all, list it! Maybe Sues and I WILL win the lottery-you never know!

LOL! If I do, you can bet I'll be buying some new old jools for my trip to the UK and parts thereabouts.

Per an earlier question, vintage to me is about age, not type of jewelry, (costume jools can be vintage as well as fine jools), others may have different takes on this. Most of my jools are 20+ years old, I'm really not into the newer stuff unless it's artistic/handmade or especially unusual looking, (kind of like moi).

I've listed some vintage jewelry, but have had very few views and no sales. so I'll hold off on too much more for now. As a new seller on ebid I'm trying to find what fits. I have managed to find some good deals as a buyer of vintage jewelry

Depending on the backside it could be a sash pin, a dress ornament or a clip of some kind - dress clips usually have clipbacks like earrings, fur clips usually have double pronged backs and sash pins have clasps like brooches, generally of the C variety without the safety, while ornaments generally don't have clasped fasteners. If there's no clipback or pronged back, I'd guess a sash or dress ornament due to the size and shape. Very pretty.

I wondered about the back, too................would look lovely as a slider on a fabric belt.........but if there are no loops, rings, or bars on the back, it wouldn't work.
