anyway, to get back to the original post - my advice would be to steer clear of pppay. It is a shame that no-one volunteered to do the charity collection thing suggested on about page 3(I think). I can't as I've already closed my account having found someone to accept my final balance in part payment for a purchase.

Oh, no... it is MUCH worse! Paypal have poor customer support but you can get things fixed eventually. PPPay has none that I have ever detected.

I have not seen a reply from ebid on this thread yet. Wish that they would comment. PPP is a nightmare.

I am new to ebid and the complete nightmare of PPPay.. I am trying to verify my first purchase, the amount was deducted from my account, I duly submitted that to the verification process only to be told I had had 2 tries and the account was now shut down. I only ever had the one entry and it was what had been deducted from my account. I have emailed my statement, showing the amount taken out. I have heard NOTHING, ZIPPO, NADA, only an automated email saying a human will be in touch within one day That was a week ago. So my seller cant release the goods and I cant have my purchase. I have never come across such a crap system in my life. Any advice Guys?

Since it seems like PPPay is owned by the same people as eBid, try emailing support@ebid.net.

But eBid runs much more smoothly, Julie, and isn't affected by the price of petrol!
