I would like to use PPPay because it is integrated with Ebid,
but if it is not a good user experience for buyers, then it is not good for Ebid.

The problem is, newbies come into the site see a "new" payment system that's integrated and go "whoopee, and alternative to PayPal" and go for it. They don't find out until later that it was an error in judgement. In the meantime any poor soul who's tried to use it to buy from them has probably left screaming never to return!

How about someone with an active account doing a charity collection and all those of us with dribs and drabs in out accounts could pay into that?

There's a solution, Astral. I'd do it, but I never signed up to ppay after hearing the dismal tales when I joined here. But it's a good way to get around the problem at hand!! Kudos!
    Ta-Ta for now!

Well one of my newbie customers has given up in frustration. I just got this !
hi becky. still having trouble with ppp hun would it be ok to send a postal order for payment as i dont want to keep you waiting. hope this will be ok and once again many thanks for your patience
As for the other one, I haven't had any reply to my email explaining that he has to verify before I can claim his payment so I don't know if that sale will ever be completed.

    Yes Yes and Yes again.

I have just made a payment to a forum member using Moneybookers, and as usual everything went smoothly as one would expect.

Until people stop using pppay altogether, I think it's unlikely that they will fix it. I voted with my feet so to speak and don't take it no more and I used to be very pro-pppay
