    Smile is putting a link to ebid on my face book page ok

    Hi there iv just sent a link to ebid to a couple of friends who use ebay, they knew nothing about eBid and are now going to have a look, would it be ok to put a link up on my face book page to eBid and if yes, do any of you computer gurus LOL know how id do it

    It's fine, and there's lots of ways of doing it. You can put it on your info as a web site, or update your status now and again, whatever you prefer. If you use your Buddy Link you can get buddy points if people use it to join.

    Oh yes indeed. I use my Facebook quite a bit for pimping my items

    Wahoooooo just done it a big purple eBid logo on my profile page (wall) lets get rockin and rollin guys and gals LOL LOL

    No no wine has passed my lips plenty of coffee and chocolate though

    Do remember to keep a balance though. I find it's best to keep a balance of chat, observation, and pimping on both Facebook and Twitter, or people just hide/unfollow - I know I do. Another nice thing to do from time to time (I stole this idea from Jewels ) is post about something you've *sold* - not every item, but just to reinforce now and again that stuff does sell here despite the moaning minnies claims.

    Agree totally balance in everything is a good way to go and thats a good idea about posting about what youv sold already

    Is a link in the opposite direction allowable? i.e. can you add a link on your eBid store About Us page inviting visitors to contact you via Facebook?
