we are asking you
to change the current second level Crafts and Sewing> Sewing and Machine Embroidery
to
Crafts and Sewing> Sewing> with the existing subcats still retained in the renamed cat.

and then

Creat a new second level sub-category in the Crafts and Sewing top level cat thus ... Crafts and Sewing>Machine embroidery

with new sub cats in the Machine Embroidery subcat as follows

Crafts and Sewing> Machine Embroidery> accessories
Crafts and Sewing> Machine Embroidery> Threads
Crafts and Sewing> Machine Embroidery> Patterns
Crafts and Sewing> Machine Embroidery> Embroidery Machines
Crafts and Sewing> Machine Embroidery> Other

As you will see these are all in the Crafts and Sewing top level cat...

I just spotted these in sewing & machine embroidery: patterns crochet - this already exist uner knitting and crochet, apart from the fact it has nothing to do with sewing or machine embroidery
