And I read that that new seller has access to 2 and a half million books !

All I hope is that they bring some more book buyers over to ebid and that they sell some books and you and the other ebid book sellers sell more as well 1

Hi Guys
In the last 3 days we have had huge increases in the number of listings.
On the US site 110,000 on day, 255,000 the next and 75,000 the next !
On the UK site 500,000 new listings over the last few days.
This is fantastic.

We really need to get up to 3 or 4 million listings.

I'm trying really hard to reach that !!!!!

I keep pretty good records

The last time I counted the listings by category - Books, Comics and Magazines had 372,000 US listings (that was about 6 months ago)
Now there are 903,000 listings in that category, an increase of over 500,000.

The next highest increased category is Music and CD's from 152,000 to 252,000

Some categories have gone down (which is a worry)

I list in both those catagories !!!!!!!!!

Great to see all the extra listings. I had problems a month or so ago on feeBay, talking to their not so helpful 'customer service' rep who said they had removed over 3000 people that week from listing goods in the UK. It would be great to get the better ones of those on board. Hopefully the increased listings will also drive more buyers to the site as well.

I have been here a month now and have 500+ listings, have another 1000 or so to go, so I am doing my bit.

I'm in the same boat as you, Kreativebargains. I was thrown off Ebay at the beginning of November for only .99% positive feedback and DSRs of better than 99% in all areas. Gosh! I must really stink! But I've got about 1350 coins, bills, and other coin related collectibles listed and am now the largest coin seller on Ebid. I plan to keep growing. Many thanks to you all.

Without knocking any bodies efforts and fair play to someone with the patience to list that many items,what ebid needs is more variety.
Some categories and big sections of the site (cars for instance) are very poorly represented some have virtually nothing to offerl,others are simply full of overpriced run till solds.

Where did you all read up about the new load of books?? And here I was so proud of having gone over 100 auctions earlier in Nov.......sigh. Gotta pick up the pace.
