"Bad gateway" ?

I have tried to log into my account this morning. Keep getting a "Bad gateway" message. Is anyone else on UK e bid
having the same problem ? Thanks.

In all fairness they did start late.

eBid are consistently over optimistic over how long things take though. Hence the phrase eBid Elastic Time (EET).

Perhaps Da Boyz should adopt the 'Scottie'* method. Tell everyone the job will take 4 times longer than you think it will and then they think you're a genius if you manage it in half the time.

What's worrying is that the technique is so wide-spread (I've worked with a lot of techies and we all add on a healthy safety factor, it's only sensible) it's difficult to believe they're not doing it... which means that their estimates are so far out a factor of 10 wouldn't cover it.
