I don't see this as anything to do with buyers, it's about attracting more, and more active, sellers.
We need both, and auctionbytes is popular with many sellers so it would be silly to miss such an easy opportunity to get the ebid name a bit more promotion.

Agreed, but amongst the online selling community it must be the most popular site/forum. Its way more popular than Power Sellers Unite.

Its a well known fact that alt selling sites need more buyers and more sellers (its a chicken and egg thing). Ebid needs twice as many listings as it has now (imho) and I think that many disgruntled feebay sellers will study that survey which has been going for a few years now.
