I can actually make a small profit on items I sell now, which was not always the case elsewhere.
Did not know ebid was in Japan now. Glad to hear that. I used to have many sales to Japan when I sold on the 'big' site.

The review is thorough and detailed. While eBid is still number two, the owners can make it number one, it will just take a lot of programming and updating code. Oh yeah, you will also need way more marketing if you want to make it to number one. Invest in Google Adwords.
they have to increase by mammoth proportions.

I would post more often but am quite busy listing items. I hope Ebid runs the good race with Ebay. I was checking out the board yesterday on Ebay and there are a lot of unhappy sellers and buyers over there.

Have you noticed Shar, that even though they're unhappy, they still sell and pay the fee's?

    Default Marketing/Advertising would help.

Yeah you would think the company would recognize there own stupidity of kicking for bad feedback.

A question to all those wanting ebid to advertise.

What increase in charges would you be wiling to pay to cover the cost of the advertising, as even adwords is not free or cheap?

    x2

And the other question is how much money would that bring in for edbid and what how many ads would that buy ?

I just wish one of these pro-advertisers would do some costing and suggest where ebid should advertise and how much it would cost.

I think the best way to increase ebids sales, would be to fill up all the categories that are empty or have low selection. And double the number of good listings.

And to do some "free pr" in the mainstream media.

eBid does have advertiseing through google search, many times it comes up on the first page as a link to something. I know this is not a sure quaranteed way to advertise but its a very valuable tool

Also the increase in sales recently, they have to be doing something right.
