Obviously, there are no guarantees that ebid won't change. But since I have been here any change has been posititive

I don't think its a good idea to just walk away from Ebay and start up on here hoping that everythings going to be easy.
A better bet is to join ebid and start listing, ask advice from the sellers already on here (who you'll find are a friendly and enthusiastic bunch) and slowly run your listings down on ebay.
Don't forget to tell your ebay customers, friends and ex customers what you're doing and where you can be found in future.
Don't expect instant results and be prepared to alter listings, dscriptions etc as simply doing everything exactly as you did on ebay wont work.
Above all don't give up...
It's OK to moan (I do it a lot) but you have to keep plugging away and sales do come. Personally I've never even thought about being kicked off ebid,I have had the odd warning e-mail about lising duplicates or whatever but one thing with ebid is that you will be dealing with people not robots or worse still people reading from a script as you get on ebay. Do something really bad (as distinct from really stupid) and you might find your account closed but frankly in all the years I've been on here I have never heard of it happening.
Great answers, Delta.

GENERAL STORE
If you a serious seller, rather than a"hobby" seller, you will save a lot on fees from feebay. so that if you were ever banned you would have saved money anyway.
And don't forget that thousands of us ebid members have had no problems and jumped in.
I would far rather fancy my chances arguing a case with ebid where you can email the owners, rather than the support staff in the Philippines who read from scripts.
When I signed up for ebid I did so with the knowledge of it being an up coming auction site. I was not concerned about what ebid could do for me,
I became a member and try to help move it along to the best of my ability. I just don't understand the do for me attitude lots of people have.
Take the step, become a part of ebid, ("ask not what ebid can do for you...ask what can I do for ebid")
I am hoping the train comes into this station, when it does I want to be aboard...
lets close down all stores in Greedbay...too many sellers suffer in Greedbay, both new & old sellers.....
joined auxtiva few months ago and paid 1 year fee, and now nothing can be posted.....

(and i'll earn some "Buddy Points" ;-) Thank You!
I joined (again) a few weeks ago and opted for the monthly offer. I have a large store on Ebay and it is very busy, the same store on Ebid so far has resulted in nothing!
Our own named store is also very busy as is our Amazon outlet, so what is going wrong here? It is probably what I have done or not done. but what?
Any positive comments would be appreciated.
