Ah... that is a worry. Mind you, I've been absent-minded and champion loser of items large and small since I was about 12; I'm not sure I'd notice if it got worse. Actually, I'm not sure that's possible!

    HELP!
I placed an auction last night ready for this months charity auction but must not have set it correctly and it is running now and someone has started to bid on it. Any ideas what I can do or must I just continue with it which is a shame as I doubt it will attract any more bids . Such a shame.

PM shellywelly and explain, and ask if she'd mind if you cancelled her bid and restarted it at the right time. If she doesn't mind, you can *temporarily* black ball her to remove her bid then close and restart at the proper time (remember to cancel the blackball). If she'd rather not, maybe because she can't make the normal time or whatever, then I suggest you just pimp the item as much as possible while it runs. Your item just wouldn't go into the competition pot, but there's nothing to stop you running the auction any time to raise funds.

Thanks Kim, I have already sent her a PM so perhaps she will get to me soon.
I am not concerned about the competition but I am aware that people look for the charity auctions and more so during the 4 days they run at the end of the month so it isnt going to be looked at as much now it is running early. Never mind I will have to check closer next time. Thanks for the reply I knew you would come to my rescue once again lol.

If you don't get an answer, and feel you have to leave it running, let us know. I'm sure I'm not the only one who'd do some external pimping for you.

I have even considered bidding, though the item would be totally useless to me
