....I know what you mean re shipping / postage charges - depending on the buyer they could be a 'turn off' - but on the up side it may be worth trying a few small or non breakable items to test the water so to speak - things like linens perhaps, postcards, or other little oddments - you may bag an extra sale. Chances are you wouldn't cos the p&p would put them off, but you'll never know unless you try ))

Yes Babs, I've been given the same suggestion a number of times and asked about posting to other than the US. Today I've done that on 1 item to sort of test the waters and see if we get any action http://uk.ebid.net/perl/auction.cgi?...o=auction#ship.

This is an item we stock boxes of here for our storefront and other web venues which we sell very consistently but IMO the cost to ship it to anywhere in Europe, Australia or New Zealand is high and certainly more than US buyers would pay for shipping. This item is compact, light weight and can easily ship in our USPS Priority Mail Flate Rate Envelopes but most of our items would be much larger in size and weight. Still, I'm certainly open to feedback and if we can open up other items to be posted to the UK and other countries we're definitely game.
