Okay folks, as you know, my role in the YDC team is Chief Twit, er, Twitterer. Tweeter. That's better. Each month I will retweet YDC promo tweets that include @YDC_fundraising (so I see them). Last month was a little... quiet, shall we say, on that front. So in order to encourage you a bit more in the build-up to YDC82 and get you into the YDC tweeting habit, I'm offering a prize!

Between now and 24th when the auctions start I want you to post promotional tweets on your twitter accounts, including the YDC id above so I see them. The tweet I think best, most effective, cleverest, funniest, or just plain daftest (my choice) will win a prize. I will send the winner (or a nominee of their choice) a little box of goodies that I'll build-up as the days pass. You don't need to be taking part in the YDC (though I hope you will, of course) in order to promote it, or to win this prize - just tweet away. Let folks know about the up-coming auctions, the good cause nominated, tease them about items you might be listing... whatever you think will work to get your followers interested. Encourage them to retweet. Use relevant hashtags to help spread the word. Let's get YDC82 out there in the twitterverse!!

Probs taint me! However, I did manage to tweet my YDC82 auctions to twitter! Was very surprised at the sharp increase in views soon after tweeting auctions.
