Someone here may know...or you could take it to a reputable jeweler, and they could give you an idea. Good luck.
    Ta-Ta for now!

As far as I know Turkish gold does not have hallmarks. It normally bears the makers mark and purity. 14 carat is typical for Turkish gold.

The only way you can 'prove' it is gold is to get it assayed. Without that you cannot sell it as gold; I think the term you have to use it 'yellow metal'.

Googled your mark and was unable to find any information. However, the following site has information about various silver and gold jewelry hallmarks which may be of interest:

Good luck in getting an answer to your question, the previous mention of consulting a reputable jeweler is probably your best and safest bet. I list all my gold colored costume jewery as goldtone (no gold content), gold filled or gold plated (if marked as such).

    Best wishes,

Try using a magnet. Real good will not attach itself to a magnet. However, a heavlily gold plated piece may not either. It's just a first step in the process of elimination.

Real gold also tarnishes and it can be passed up because it doesn't look "real".

Sterling silver is not magnetic either, this is how I test my sterling items for sale if the pieces are unmarked, that and scent, as sterling has a distinctive odor.

Best wishes for many sales to all,
