How Is Your Buying Coming Along?

A seller can not sell unless they have a buyer; that goes without saying. This is the flip side of one of the most common questions asked on eBid. Answering this question can give a reflection of how sales are going. Now if the same person or two is selling to all the buyers, than most of us are in trouble.

In all fairness, I will start............... I'm bidding on a total of 4 items from 2 sellers (1+3 respectively).
Also already bought 8 items from 4 sellers; therefore, at least 6 people are making sales on eBid.

My sales are slow, but happening. I've gotten back all of my Seller+ Life-time fees, so not a prob.

One of the reasons I have so much to sell is that my mother-in-law did rather a lot of shopping. This means that I have too much of many things so I haven't bought much recently. But I always look here and I've had some real bargains - a fantastic designer t-shirt with a tag saying over £45 and I paid less than £10 - definitely genuine as it was not one of the designers who is faked.

I think the majority of sellers are also buyers some buy more than they sell.

if i am looking for something, i look on ebid first. one of my buyers from the dark side has been an ebid member for 3 years, when she got her items with a flyer, she now buys from me regularly here, her comment was "i have not looked in ebid for at least 2 years, it was so small and i could not find the things i wanted". she was suprised at how it has grown, so something must be right for this site. i have also had 3 new buyers come over from the dark side in the last 2 weeks!...onwards and upwards

when it comes to my hobby I do look here first.... but have never found anything :-) but there again I very rarely find it "elsewhere" either, so tend to buy from online business sites

and when it comes to buying stock, obviously, the prices tend to be too high both here and elsewhere, so I tend to by from b&m auction houses.

So in short it is very unusual for me to buy much from any online auction site, but I do always look just on the off chance

What items are you looking for? I think it is helpful to know what people want, because someone may have things others want, but just haven't gotten around to listing them yet!
