    For those with square pictures the watermark is still going to interfere with visibility on the main, large picture (especially if they're using a smaller, stock picture). Surely this is the most important picture for showing detail as it's the largest.

    Would it not be possible to keep the watermark but make it semi-transparent like the last version of the red one?

    The watermark on thumbnails overpowers the page when there are row after row of them search results pages, we would rather focus be on the product being sold. We'll be adding a cropping system shortly to allow you to pick an area of the large photo to become the thumbnail so the product becomes as large as possible in the small thumbnail (Gallery view) and medium thumbnail (Showroom view
