    Oh those poor people.
    Don't that realise it won't work because its not effective and its an old fashioned way of advertising
    My posts only state my own opinions, unless I've stolen them from someone else

    How'd that work out for their auction business?
    I sold a lot more on Yahoo than I've ever done here.As Yahoo finished they directed all their customers to ebay,I'd imagine quite a few bob changed hands as a result.

    I saw another couple of adverts for Gumtree on ITV.Still I think by calling it greedbay,feepay,the dark side and all the other names we'll soon finish off that 'other site'.

    I haven't watched a TV ad since I got my DVR. I almost never watch live TV because I record the few shows that I want to see. And I LOVE that fast forward button.

    I found Ebid only after Googling the words 'online auction sites'. I ended up at a page that ranked auction sites - at least 15, none of which I even heard of. Of course Ebay was ranked #1 - but EBID is RANKED #2!! I think that is great considering who EBID stacks up against.
    Hi AustinComics...nice post...yes I, too, wish there were more internet-type advertising here in the USA...soon I hope! I do have one suggestion, however...the link you provided us:
    San Diego Comic-Con International 2011!
    * http://www.comic-con.org/ *
    must be considered an e-commerce site...ads everywhere! That goes against eBid forum board policies...I'd take that link down before the FB admin takes it down along with your OP...just FYI....!!
