    Default Can't log in

I can't get logged into my eBid account and it took 5 tries to get into the forums to post this. Am I the only one having this problem today?

What exactly is happening when you try?

There are a few things you can check here: http://homepage.ntlworld.com/astral....icks.htm#a0056 though I think the first one has been fixed in a recent update.

I enter username, password and it keeps sending back to that page to do it again. Just tried and it still won't work. I've logged in to the forums but can not go to my eBid as it sends me to reenter username and password.

When you say delete cookies from ebid, is this different than deleting cookies and history through internet options?

I still can't get into eBid and put a request into ebid but have had no response yet.

Thanks to all who are trying to help, surely we will find the answer soon!

I installed Foxfire and am able to get in. One more question, can you switch back and forth from foxfire to IE8 or is this what I have to use for everything?

You can use whichever suits your needs at the time. I have Firefox, Chrome, IE, Safari and Opera installed. Firefox is my prime browser but I sometimes am forced to use IE. The others I use for compatibility testing when I create web pages.

The fact that Firefox allows you to log in would indicate your prior problem was more likely an errant setting in IE.

Thanks for all of your help.

My husband knows even less about the computer than I do and he doesn't like it when I make changes so was hoping I could keep the IE for him.
