I think this thread has run its course and all there is to be said has been said - and it is now just going around in circles. Admin cannot be unaware of it and it is starting to descend into negative comments against eBid rather than a debate over the dead seller issue.

Maybe time for the OP to close the thread before admin takes action against it?

I think your right. Most of us are just repeating the same thing over and over. It is a concern and I hope the naysayers are wrong. Too bad that this can't or won't be addressed before it is too late. As I have time I will still work on getting the dead weight out of the system but I can't do it alone. My hope is that those who are concerned will do the same as they run accross dead items and sellers.

As RUS listings cannot go 'out of date' I am unsure what it means.

p.s. That's ignoring the fact that you cannot have a RUS auction.

Way back in the mists of time I seem to remember that there was a figure of 160 days given for the life of a RUS listing, or it may have just been a dream!
