I was towards the front end of joining ebid and it was very small. Now i come back after some time and it really looks like it took off. I sure look forward to using it again and seeing how the traffic is.

I would say that that weird-looking creature needs more than just some bids, a shot of whisky would surely perk her up a little.

Actually lots of changes in last year or so. ebid has a fresh, professional new look, and sellers learned how to attract the new buyers coming from google. We share the info in the forums. Google is our largest source of buyers, and has a huge amount of daily traffic. There are tricks to getting more exposure on google and coming up on more searches (strong keywords, adding more inventory, etc)
Selling/buying on line is changing. People seem to be using google and other search engines more, and are not loyal to one site anymore. Tossing our old feebay listings at them, does not work. They want more description, better photos, discounts for multiple buys etc, In other words more professional listings. We also discovered we had to use strong keywords to come out better on the searches (never had to think about that on feebay). ebid may download all BINS to google, google may use our listings in searches, but it is up to us to close the deal. We found we need clear terms too.
