I still cant see why as I dont want to list all 30 as a auction I want to sell 30 x lights at £10.95 as a buy it now but to get peoples interest I have also done a listing with 1 x light with a auction starting at £6.99 I cant see where the problem with this is ? will keep it until admin let me know

I have a few items that could be listed as many auctions even though it's the same item, but I don't have enough time to list every item I have let alone listing some of them with every usage possible.

No matter what the rule/s are people will still try or find a way around them if they really want to
I already emailed them, did you read my post?

Yes, I did read your post. I suggested that you either escalate the ticket to Gazza & Mark, or send a new one to Gazza & Mark rather than asking them to come on the forums to reply.

    I'm afraid I disagree completely...

Nope, don't see it that way at all. If you have a stock of XYZ that can be used on ten different ABCs, you make *one* listing and put the ten ABCs in the listing. Anything else is nonsense to my mind. You can take almost anything and legitimise it with "oh, these aren't duplicates you're using them differently" otherwise.

    1 x left arm bangle
    1 x right arm bangle
1 x bangle for wearing with other bangles
    1 x bangle for girls
    1 x bangle for boys
1 x bangle for leaving on your dressing-table
1 x bangle for losing at the bottom of your handbag

... they're all the same bangle.

And that's wrong too, IMO. As long as the 30 item is being sold as a pack of 30, then you are perfectly fine selling 1 x 30 pack and 1 single of anything - those *are* different.

    Is this a typo?You're selling thirty for £10.95 & one for £6.99?

Ah... then you *are* breaking the rules. If the 30 are not a job lot, but individual items on Dutch/Multi-item listing, they are no different from the auction listing: both are offering a single sale, just by different means. No can do.
