Good Morning Folks!

Another idea for YDC promotion has popped into my head
(I know...i'm dangerous when I think lol)

Last night.....well, during the night.....I was noseying around, doing some "natural" Google searches on key words.
& one of the phrases that I searched was "charity auction".
I got to page 17 (then gave up)....and didn't find one....NOT ONE! ....YDC auction (yikes)!

we need to include "Charity Auction" in both the auction title & description (if we can)

Maybe OK in the description but not the title. By the time you have got 'YDC xx Charity Auction ' in, there is not a lot of characters left to give a proper title to the item.

I was thinking the same.

Typing 'YDCXX Charity Auction' in the title leaves 35 characters. Would that be enough left to do the remainder of the title? It may get the brain cells working a bit harder and may create more imaginative titles. It will bring the YDC more to the front on the charity auction searches, but is that something that people search for? The answer to that one I know is impossible to say as its the general populace we're talking about and for myself, it's not a seach that I've ever done.

That's why I said "if we can".......
I've given it a go, no harm done, costs nowt.....and it might be effective for future use.
