As the number of characters is limited (like eBid's auction titles) it would be impossible to write them in more than one language?? Le sigh........
I have seen tweets in both Chinese and Russian. One of my followers is a translation bot that seems to translate my tweets into Chinese. Although I have no idea why it does.

My software does a search in French so I assume there must be some tweets in French

My posts only state my own opinions, unless I've stolen them from someone else

I don't know if there are many French users, I might do some research on that, but either way... why does that make it no use to you? I have followers and follow others all round the globe. It's one of the things that makes it interesting.

    5) Please list your item/s at any time on the 24th of July (in your country), and finish at the same time on the 28th. (Differing time zones will be taken into account when establishing the “winner”).

I thought it made it sound like you had to list on the 24th, not that your listing started on the 24th

Okay, if I were you what I'd do is this... start by following a few obvious Francophone brands like this http://twitter.com/TV5MONDEINFO and then look at their follower list and add whatever it there looks interesting to my follower list, and then that will lead you out to *their* followers etc. Should build a healthy twitter stream pretty quickly.

    Morning Peeps!

I haven't dissapeared.....just busy working on some promotion ideas lol

....and now for my next idea.....errrr, who's running for the hills....I can see you..pmsl

I know that we all like to "raid our drawers" for YDC....but i'm looking at ideas to give YDC (and eBid) an even bigger profile & pull in the crowds.

Waterstones have "book signings" throughout the year eg. Sir Michael Parkinson is in the Leeds store,
    lunchtime on 28th October.

    Would you like to help?
By looking for some BIG NAME authors who will be "signing" at your local store?
Would you stand in the queue for a signature? (& maybe get a photo lol)
I'll fund the cost of the book....so don't worry about that part! It's your time i'm after lol

Just gathering your thoughts here folks...

As you know, we are trying to spread the word about YDC............but,
if someone new was just having a nosey and typed "YDC" into the search box...they would get:

Search for ydc found 6 auctions

    the alternatives are:

    Search for YDC*

Search for YDC* found 38 auctions

    Search for YDC79
Search for ydc79 found 34 auctions

In a nutshell, we really need EVERYTHING to be found....but what is the best way to improve the search results for YDC?
Would we be better off adding a space in auction titles, ie: YDC 79.....??
Or do we leave well alone & hope for the best?
