Nothing for sale in North America?

When I searched the US & then Canada separately the function seemed to work ... but searching North America did not.

There is a difference between USA, & Canada, sites where both Sellers & Buyers can join,
& (the continent of) North America where currently only Buyers can join.

North America currently only has 46,743 listings available to buy.

If you logout of eBid (or look at it with a different browser), & go to the registration page, for North America, you will see in the dropdown box the locations covered by it, they don't include, USA, or Canada, as they already have their own sites.

If you go to the actual NA site (you are looking at it from the US site) then the search returns 2073 listings: http://na.ebid.net/perl/main.cgi?vie...ear_me=&pcode=

Zone shipping is reasonably new and I think that unless a seller has modified their listings to include shipping to a zone then it will not show in that zone.

Why the disparity in figures is a mystery. It looks like something admin needs to take a look at. While I can see it is just possible that I may get zero results looking from the UK site, you looking from the US site I would expect to get results.

Yes I added a listing with only French shipping, in French, yet it shows up when I search from New Zealand.

So why are there different figures from UK, USA France and Belgium etc if they are all available to evreyone ?

Looks like admins have some work to do. This glitch affects all sellers who ship globally (and buyers).

Continents will be removed from the Advanced Search form at next update.
