PPpay.com Is it a good alternative?

I have used PPpay.com for the first time this week and have received three seperate payments in the last week via this payment method. However, when I log in to my PPpay.com account it says that the payments are pending untill the sender (buyer) verifys their credit card using a "penny check mechanism". I am obviously very dubious about dispatching the items until the payments have been verified. I have therefore contacted the buyers in order to explain the situation. It just appears that the whole process of using PPpay.com is long winded and hassle to both parties that are not familiar with it. I was wondering what others peoples experiences of using PPpay.com are? Have any sellers been stung by sending items before their pending payment has been verified? Also is PPpay.com really a viable payment method in the long run? Thank you in advance for any advice.

I do not ship an item until PP sends me an email or it says "cimpleted" in my PP account "history".
