I didn't regard my post as a complaint just a personal observation on how articles on ebid would be better if they didn't knock other sites. I will remove it.
My posts only state my own opinions, unless I've stolen them from someone else

Neither did I, and I agree.

Guy rescues baby from burning building. Wife comments to press "He's no hero, he left his dirty socks on the floor this morning". May be true but off subject, just like commenting that a seller on ebid has lots of listings and maybe he/she is dishonest. Let hero and Ebid bask in sunshine for a while, they earned it.

Excellent article, long overdue. Because it is comparing counts of daily listings, it considered the important point that feebay's count accuracy is subject of much speculation in industry. Ebid's counts have never been questioned (except by members). So that point was made.

Ebay does allow junk, fakes and rubbish onto its site to inflate its figures and thats a fact.
For instance there are hundreds of listings for what seem to be some air gun pellets wrapped in wire netting that you drop in the fuel tank of your car.For around £30 you (apparently) can run on unleaded, increase power and lower pollution, you don't have to change the oil and the fuel never goes stale. It probably also gives it a respray and repairs the rust holes ready for the MOT as you drive along but doesn't say so in the advert.
I'm sure there are loads of other examples and if its the big sellers listing such junk they get a discount to do so!.

"Ooh look, somebody's being positive and encouraging, stamp on 'em quick!" I'm all for keeping a balanced and factual stance, but that doesn't mean we have to turn every piece of good news into a foot-shot.
    Kudos to you, Kim...agree 100%!

I thought it was a great article.

I mentioned some of the things sellers did not like about ebay, and how ebid does them better. And how ebid is growing and how it is better than it was a year ago !

Any positive publicity must be good publicity.
