Thread: HTML editor missing

  1. #1

    Default HTML editor missing

Is it just me or is anyone else coming across this.

Works in my defaults but no sign of it in Ninja. Also missing of my site.

    Any ideas.

You select the html editor in file > edit settings. It's still there in my version anyway.

Not sure what you mean by "my site"!? Are you referring to some part of ebid as your site?

I meant my website. I just seem to be getting all html and no tool bar for the editor on Ninja.

Why should ebid's html editor appear on your website?

There is no tool bar for the html editor. You originally said it was missing, are you now saying you've found it but don't know how to use it? What are you actually trying to achieve, maybe I'll understand better from that angle.

As I've already said, there is no tool bar for the html editor. It's an *html* editor. You're supposed to create your own links etc.

If you don't know how to write html, don't use the html editor, use the WYSIWYG one.

That is the one I am using. The bar has gone.

You are not. You are using the html editor you said you hadn't got. The picture you posted was of the html editor which does not have a tool bar, so none is shown. If you want to use a tool bar you must use the wysiwyg editor. You must select this from the edit settings area I mentioned at the top.

There are two types of editor available in Ninja.

html - pure code, no tools
advanced wysiwyg - all tools on icon bar

Just decide which one you really want.
