    Smile Fat quarters or yards?

Advice please. New to ebid and, as I am a quilter and have visited USA a lot, I have cupboards full of fabric. Have made 40 quilts myself over the years and do love sewing but now have to stop buying fabric as we want to downsize house.

I have some things on ebid but havent had a bid yet. Would I be best selling FQ's or (if I have enough of a fabric) yards.

Anybody know what sells best on ebid? Be nice to have a few draws emptied.

    Thanks - Steph (usavillas)

    Hiya Steph

Just my opinion, but I would stick to yardage...then you are not limiting your sales to "quilters".

A couple of small tips to boost exposure & sales:

Re-visit your auction titles.....lose all the capitals, excessive punctuation & price (Google dosn't like them )

    ONE YARD-LIZARDS-100%COT TON-greens/multi - £2.50
1 Yard Lizards 100% Cotton Fabric - Greens / Multi xx wide

& add a buy now price ("buy nows" get uploaded to Google shopping)

Thanks Yvonne - I have done the lot wrong!! I put caps, price etc. A friend told me about ebid and said she had bought off it. Never heard of Google shopping either. Some fabrics I only bought Fqs of so will leave those as they dont take up so much room and, as you advise, concentrate on yards. Wish I wasnt such a horder and compulsive buyer!! God bless and thanks again, Steph x

A lot of new buyers arrive at ebid via Google Shopping

So...try and think like a buyer say, if I wanted: a green cotton material for a specific project....what would I type into the search box??
