Thread: Cancelled sale/purchase being prompted for feedback

Arrow Cancelled sale/purchase being prompted for feedback

I ordered some items that turned out to be illegal in my state, so seller and I cancelled the items and deleted them, but we are still being prompted for feedback. I can't get rid of them. Then I had to cancel 1 item from a sale, again deleted it, but am being prompted for feedback. What the heck do I do?

Let me correct myself. I'm not getting prompts but, they still show up in my feedback list waiting for it.

All other lists have a delete/archive option, but not feedback. If you can't just ignore it, you could agree with the other party to put neutral "sale canx" in their or something?

If you think delete/archive for the feedback section would be a good idea you can suggest it in the website suggestions forum.

Have to disagree with that. The way eBid calculate feedback percentages, neutrals affect the score. Also, a lot of people see neutral feedback as a 'soft neg' so I don't think it's fair to knock a seller's feedback unless the cancellation was due to a fault on their side.

If you both agreed on canceling the sale & both parties are happy why not just leave positive feedback for each other on how things were handled.

Good solution, both of you did work hard on the sale, but it just did not work out. Both deserve positive feedback for working out the problem.

Good solution. Both made an effort to straighten out the problem, both should get positive feedback. Its not like it was a refusal to pay.
