I've tried to resend using the options, but it's not registering on the AAL, unless it's showing somewhere I haven't looked

They've hidden it haven't they !!??

It's a bit like hide & seek since the site refresh

Perhaps it doesn't show up on the aal as being resent,it just gets sent.

When you've resent it use the "ask....a question" or "add note to myself" to say you've done it.That should then give an entry that you can see/check.
