As I advise elsewhere...if you set a holiday notice stick a Post-It note to that effect on your monitor in case you forget by the time you get back.

Well tie a knot in your hanky then. Send yourself an email. Anything that will act as a trigger to your memory.

Use a computer calendar (Outlook, Google etc) and set a reminder, or put it on your phone.

knotted hanky is good, note in calendar I can also do. Don't have a mobile phone (thank goodness)
