Why has ebid dropped a huge 400,000 listings ?

Hi Guys

I notice that ebids listings on PSU and the ebid USA site are still dropping by huge amounts.

Doesn't any one know what is going on ?

This is unprecedented !

I think they are getting rid of dead wood (dump and run listings) and also duplicates.

I'm perverse, I always get very pleased when we hear the numbers have dropped since it means they've been cleaning up again.

I'm not perverse (at least I don't think so) but such 'happenings' does put a smile on my face to know eBid are on top of things.

I just thought it must be perversity, since every body else seemed to want the numbers to increase, regardless. Now that I know I'm in such good company, I shall rethink my self-assessment.

I'm afraid it's one of the problems with a free listing site offering a bulk lister and import from eBay. Sellers listing 10's or even 100's of thousands of items will expect the same level of sales as they have had elsewhere. When that doesn't happen, they just ignore the site and leave the listings running.
Perhaps it's time to limit the run til sold option to 90 days or something like that

No it's not, it's happened before,

numbers go up, numbers go down, on all sites, that's the way it is.

The PSU chart is really not worth getting so stressed about.
