How did such a simple idea get so complicated
My posts only state my own opinions, unless I've stolen them from someone else

Kimbo I agree with you, a seller should be able to cancel a order. But not the buyer. They should communicate with the seller, and it should be up to the sellers disgression if they want to cancell the order. If not, guess the buyer cauld just resell it, or not. It would be theirs once they paid for it. If not, they cauld be a non paying buyer, with a neg. aginst them.

I agree. Takes some effort to accidently do something like that. Seems wrong to give careless people additional ways to get out of obligation.

Cancelling sale is option now, and is in ebid's complete control. Remove that and it will be very difficult to dislodge a scammer if they can remove all evidence of the sale. Will also make it easier to arrange outside site sales, and again, erase all evidence of the sale.

Fooling with this area does more than cancel an accidential sale.

Not everybody has to agree, but I still think this is an essential addition to the site functionality and would like eBid management to give the matter their consideration, and let us know if it could be added to the to do list or is a "no hoper", thanks. So...

    BUMP!

I would really like this. Whether it is buyer's remorse or finger trouble, going through the non-paying bidder routine is time consuming & unfriendly, not to mention leaving the troublesome item cluttering up my eBid. It worries me that buyers who make a mistake and then get a really poor experience will never return to ebid. They are not all bad (have you never made a mistake?) but they are going to be very unwilling to come back.

    Wink No way....

Well...I am using Auction sites in the past 10 years and I never make ''mistake'' for buying...and anyway if I click on the button ''buy'' I buy simple as that...I mean for every Auction site ask you minimum twice ''yes'' or ''no'',so if anybody click on the button ''buy'' always have time to go back because you're not buying yet unless you click again ''yes''...so huh...heh...this all ''fake'' Buyers not convicting me at all...in the end if you have more people living in your place and in case everybody use same computer always lock down your SN with Password and your Account too so if anybody bought something from the computer it is not YOU...life is simple...very...very...very...very...simple....goo d morning England good night United States....

In the last 2 months I have had 4 members buy and then say.. made a mistake. I think their mistake was/is being here.
The answer to all of this is site respect. They think, so what, who cares if I get suspended here. Must have site respect, this is the answer to many buying, npb problems.. along with the wandering clowns.

still need a cancel transaction option - why people buy by mistake is not the issue - they do it and I want to be able to cancel the sale.
