Cancelling after payment and delivery for business sellers needs to comply with the DSRs and the sellers “Returns Policy” which in itself must be compatible with the DSRs. I think this is too difficult an area to be addressed by eBid and should be the responsibility of the business seller.

What I would like to see is a cancellation system for items which have not been shipped. By mutual agreement of the buyer and seller we ought to have a system that allows the transaction to be cancelled. Such a system should be comparatively easy to implement.

I did not bid on the item but pressed the buynow button to see price and shipping cost. Want to cancel the order now. Do not ship!

youll need to message the seller.

The price and postage is usually in the listing, without needing to click buy-now... *confused*

There's no point in telling us, I'm afraid, you need to contact your seller. You've used the Buy button, so you've bought. If you go to your bought items list in "my ebid" and use the ask seller a question option to explain you got it wrong, your seller will - with luck - be understanding.

I agree we need a way to cancel a BIN, not sure about an auction. An auction is different with regards to DSRs.

DSRs = Distance Selling Regulations: http://www.oft.gov.uk/business-advic...A096BFC8239CB9 - which apply to business sellers.

I have been asked several times by buyers to cancel transactions but that doesn't exist. We do need this facility. Another "Yes" vote
