Gypsy tart is very very sweet. It is muscovado sugar whipped with evaporated milk and poured into a pastry case and baked for 10 mins.
It is yummy with whipped cream

I was watching one at the needlework exhibition the other day that was stitching the most incredibly complex and large monogram - all by itself!! Now that seemed like cheating to me..... but I wish someone would invent a computer that didn't need my input to get things perfect!!

I hate ~ absolutely hate!! sewing machines and they hate me back.

Never would work one. They give up as soon as they see me.

As for computers~ I can turn one one~ does that count?

Pass the chocolate, and a bit of that pie please.

    Ta ~ pie is lovely

Setting up a sewing machine is murder. I can't get any bits where they should be and then it gets all tangled & twisted, and then it just ~~~~~~~well~~~~~~grunts and stops.

Wait a minute~ am I confusing the sewing machine with the OH?
