Search a seller's auctions.. not working

If I search for words in the description from "User's Auctions" page, I'm getting very odd results.

As I attempt to get all my listings right after the postage changes, this is causing me an appalling amount of extra work.

This appears to have been a problem with edits being assimilated into the main system (not techie enough to explain that better) but it was taking more than 2 hours to happen which made editing for new postage REALLY difficult. I still haven't finished because I had to abandon it when there was no way of detecting which items still needed it.

If I go to the "Auctions" page for me and then search for something which is in description.. edit it out and then re-search, the item will still be returned in the search. It is a temporary effect and thus difficult to reproduce.

however, right now, search for "packing" in descriptions and it still returns

http://uk.ebid.net/for-sale/1-ball-t...e-22234382.htm

which does not contain that word.

Got to go out so I'll be unable to return to this till this evening but thank you for replying.
