problems with shipping calculator

Is anyone else having problems with the shipping calculator? I am making some new listings and it doesn't matter which method of shipping or what weight it comes up with the same cost.

If I leave the weight will the shipping cost get corrected if it is a glitch?

Have you started the auction or just looking at preview of auction? Preview won't show true shipping until auction has been started. Start one of them and then see if shipping is correct.

I personally have not had any problems with shipping calculator unless I try to offer priority and parcel on same item at the same time. The shipping calculator has never been able to do that correctly, so I just offer one method of shipping - not two.

Gazza, I have not tried one in a very long time, but tomorrow, I will make one and see if it comes up correctly. A long time ago I gave support a sample auction but nothing came of it. So I gave up trying to list with 2 shipping options. I will try again tomorrow.

Thanks. I have found if I only offer one shipping method the shipping calculator calculates correctly. But with two options like priority & parcel, it does not. I have not tried one with priority & first class.

We have been looking into this and the amount we receive back from USPS is $25 ... i can see you do get $12 on the USPS site but we are just showing what USPS send back to us.

We also tried offering one shipping method (Parcel) and we still got back $25 .. can you show us an auction where you added one method and got back the correct amount?

I made another mock listing: http://us.ebid.net/for-sale/test-lis...2-26476067.htm

On this one I used regular package and only parcel post. Using regular makes parcel come out correctly. But on the USPS website a package this size is considered large so that is what I used on the first listing which is why the priority came out correct.

If I were to use regular package on the first mock listing, priority would be incorrect and parcel would be correct.
