@ Jan - I have no clue what the strikes through names means. I had assumed it meant that their bids hadn't met the reserve price?

Hi Paul,
We don't get strikes through our name when we don't reach a reserve price when bidding.

Usually when a newbie joins up and starts bidding or buying right away, they will receive a strike through their name if their details have not yet been eBid verified. But in your case of the 2 bidders, they joined up some time ago so it could be they are in trouble with eBid (just guessing).

Contact support@ebid.net and ask them about the 2 members and see what's up.

I just assumed it was that they had not bid high enough to reach the reserve price of the auction item, rendering their bids invalid, so thank you for the explanation, Jan.

Seemingly, it's the members themselves that keep this place kicking, and who turn the newbies into oldies, so your help is appreciated. Thanks again.
